the deschanels

i have always been one of those people who thinks that someone looks like someone and can easily distinguish a face. my sister stephanie makes fun of me for it, but it's for real folks. the other day at my nanny job i was watching the show BONES, a show i had never seen before. instantly the main character, Bones, showed familiar characteristics as Zooey Deschanel. not only did she look similar to her, but how they talk is similar. they both have monotone voices at sorta a slow speed and her face doesn't really move when she talks. as well, they both project their humor the same. i was determined they were related. i got home and looked up the character on BONES and found that she was in fact the sister of miss Zooey. i knew it! funny. maybe you all knew they were related, but i sure didn't.

switzerland moments

i never did post about my trip to switzerland, my second time around. (here you can see my first time around) i had two lovely weeks of amazing moments, so enjoy a few photos of some of those moments.

standing in leaves and chestnuts. a few days later we had chestnuts for dinner(not the ones i am standing in). i never thought i would eat them in my life.

my favorite town in switzerland, Luzern. that bridge is the most famous bridge in all europe.

my most favorite, swiss bread and swiss cheese. i could eat this for any and all meals.

another favorite, cranberry pomegranate yogurt. they have the best yogurt in switzerland.

i went and visited the family i nannied for last winter. i was sure happy i did that. my buddy tyler has gotten so big i can't even handle it. he is a real toddler now, i was with him when he was a baby, turned 1 and watched him take his first steps.
