the day i wont forget!

the day started off great; switchfoot in my ears while running at 6am.then FINALLY later today my sister and i were on our way to the puyallup fair!! we went early to the fair to play while waiting for the switchfoot concert that would be happening later. steph walked around for a bit then i got my traditional curley fries that i get everytime and steph corn on the cob. we saw HUGE cows and HUGE horses!! steph and i rode the ferris wheel!! i have never rode a ferris wheel...needless the say the height scared me a bit. then we rode another ride. it was kind of a kid ride but all the same it FREAKED me out. on both rides we got some fun video!! haha!! we were laughing so hard on that second ride....we're dorks!! then it was FINALLY time for SWITCHFOOT!!! i changed into my tshirt i got at the last concert then bought another sticker and pins!! the concert set up was great! at this concert they had screens on both sides which was great because our seats were down on the floor in the back row so i had to go on my tippy toes to see. BUT THEN DURING ONE OF THE SONGS JON(THE LEAD SINGER) RAN OUT INTO THE AUDIENCE AND RAN RIGHT BEHIND STEPH AND I. I STUCK MY HAND OUT TO HIGH FIVE HIM BUT HE WAS HIGH FIVING ON THE OTHER SIDE AND I WAS ON THE MICROPHONE SIDE. THEN HE WENT UP INTO THE AUDIENCE AND WAS SINGING. STEPH AND I WENT OVER AND WHEN HE CAME DOWN HE WALKED RIGHT IN FRONT OF US AND I PATTED HIM ON HIS LEFT SHOULDER!!! HAHA!! IT WAS GREAT!!! I WAS SOOO EXCITED THAT I JUST HAD TO TEXT EVERYONE AND TELL THEM!! okay im done with the caps lock. it was a great concert! they played a new song from their upcoming album and THEN they played another off the new album that they said they have NEVER played infront of an audience before!! lucky us!!! both songs were great!!! it was just a fun day with my sister!!! im sooo glad we went....and HELLO i got to touch jon!!!

I have to say, I really enjoyed Switchfoot in concert. I was even impressed by their moving lyrics. Oh, and the lead singer is a B-A-B-E (that spells babe). The video on the previous post doesn't do his beautiful side-swept blonde hair justice.
Oh, and I don't care what those five year olds said - that ride WAS scary! 3 cheers for the fair!
