seattle=always a good idea

my great friend julene jorgensen from college came up last week to visit me in seattle! we had talked about her coming to seattle to visit, but thought maybe it was just a dream, or hope. but julene made it possible! we had a lot of fun, these pics are just a few of the MANY things we did. our days were jam packed, we went from one thing to another, it was exhausting. i am so glad she got to come experience the wonderful world of seattle (not disney).

after i picked her up from the airport i took her to my favorite place, Edmonds. here we are with the scary clown painted on this garage

we meet up with stephanie and we took a tour of the UW campus! so beautiful!

after we went to ikea, i took julene to see the seattle temple although you can barely tell that is where we are

a tradition julene and i started this summer at school was to make fruit smoothies, so the first night that is what we did! yum!

my favorite excursion we went on was to gas works. we had a lot of fun here!

to buy some time before the concert we headed to archie mcphee's a store full of randomness

we went to ballard locks

we bought new hats, here is us sporting them. we were on our way out to go to my work where we were doing our christmas card photoshoot and i locked us out of the house without the car keys, so we sat in the car and took pics while we waited for natalie to save us.

for her birthday, i bought us tickets to a concert at the high dive. this was julenes first concert!
