random thoughts

i really love learning and learning new things, but i often get overwhelmed that i cant remember things that i have learned. it makes me sad. i just wish i had all the time in the world to make a list of subjects i have once learned about or a list of things i want to know about, and just spend days learning about them. then of course i would like to able to remember it all. along with that i have always dreamed about having a reading getaway where all i do is read the books i have always wanted to read. i miss being young when so much of my time was spent reading books and taking adventures with the characters. which reminds me, a book i really enjoyed growing up was Danny The Champion of the World by Roald Dahl and this last week at byui i went to an art seminar where the illustrator for the cover of that book was speaking. Robert Barrett does a lot of the church art that we see aswell. it was cool to see and hear from the person whos art you have seen not only in the church but out in the world, and realize he was the one that made them.
