almost out a year!

once again(past post HERE) i received a MUCH needed and MUCH anticipated letter from my dear friend taylor davenport. i seriously go crazy when its been over 2weeks and i havn't heard from him(this one took about 5 weeks so i was going a bit crazy waiting for his letter). his letters always make me laugh here is a part he wrote that made me laugh...

"Oh my gosh, Monica, my companion is a little social liability! I just got him a few days ago and hes only been out a few months and I never know whats going to come out of his mouth. It's kind of exciting, cause I never know what hole Im going to dig him out of. On Sunday, I was talking to a lady who gave us a ton of cookies the previous day. Well, I threw most of them away cause I dont like having junk food at the apartment and my companion didnt want them. So my companion comes up to her while I was talking and says "Elder Davenport threw away your cookies," out of nowhere, and then realizes that what he said was stupid and said "I probably shouldnt have said that." Luckily, the lady didnt hear him well cause she said "you shouldnt have said what?" And he said, " I probably shouldnt have said that Elder Davenport threw your cookies away," and then left me to explain myself.

Another day, we went to a members home for dinner and when they opened the front door for us, the first thing he said was, "You guys are so lucky to be rich; your house looks way expensive." A nice "Hello! Thanks for having us over," would have worked as well.

He's a good missionary though. The awesome thing is that he is the first companion Ive ever had that likes shopping and going places, so I dont feel like Im killing anyone when I look at stationary for ten minuets. We take turns looking at my paper and his trading cards."

ohhhh taylor. how i miss you.
