makes me ill

i am peeved by widows. in printing/graphic design/typography a widow is a term used to describe a few things but especially when a one word line ends the paragraph. before i even learned the term in my graphic design/typography courses i hated widows. i try to avoid them in type and in written form. my notes for classes were always in nice paragraph form with no widows to be seen. unfortunately, blogger doesn't allow me to avoid these...and it makes me ill. i don't know if widows, like this particular one, show up on your screen, but it does mine.

also, in the printing/graphic design/typography world...widows are bad.
