its great to be an art major

as an art major i have to attend 4 semesters worth of art seminars. they are about 5 times every semester and have a different artists with different mediums come and show us their work and talk art with us. the last art seminar of this semester the graphic designer said it was important for us to be searching websites and learning about all the different kinds of art there is out there right now. i thought to myself, hey i already do that...and im kinda addicted to it. however, him telling us that we as artists should be doing this, made me feel a lot better about and validated my already addiction to finding art. so as an art major i get to find amazing websites like these below, for example. (the websites i have on my blog are all websites i love these days because of the massive amounts of art and beauty in them)

and this fun website where you can create your own art that looks like the paintings of jackson pollock...and that is all it does. you can change colors by clicking down on your cursor and if you hold the mouse in one spot it makes the paint splatters bigger.
